Somehow I missed this essay from you Jordan. Although I think we will have a permissionsless and ubiquitous drone layer to the large ecosysem that keeps the planet green and pristine, including continuously reforesting (painting) ecosystems where needed. Not only would we have a pristine world as you describe, but a regenerated global ecology that hasn’t existed in centuries.
One thing though — I don’t see this “fine you for every excreta” thing remaining economically viable for long — as the incentive to render the supply chain increasingly biodegradable will be stronger. And in the absence of some big brother system doing it, whose viability in a structurally decentralized environment is dubious, I see such a decentralized biosphere drone network becoming self-financing and maintaining.
