UNC Basketball Coach — Roy Williams
Brice Hall earned a bachelor of arts and a master of science from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill (UNC). Still faithful to his alma mater, Brice Hall enjoys watching UNC’s basketball team, the Tar Heels, play.
The 2016–2017 season was Roy Williams’s 14th year coaching the Tar Heels, and his tenure as coach has been a successful one. Before arriving at UNC, Williams was the head coach of the Kansas Jayhawks, whom he led to the NCAA tournament 14 times during his 15 years with the team. Though the Kansas team never won a national championship, Williams did manage to get them to the final four four times.
Williams has also taken the Tar Heels to the final four three times, leading them to two national championships: one in 2005 and another in 2009. His teams have finished 7 seasons ranked in the Associated Press’s final top 10 rankings, and Williams has notched over 800 wins with a .790 winning percentage.
