We Don’t Need Another NGO, Non-Profit, Feel Good, Do Nothing Something

Economically oppressed people around the world don’t need more food donations, clothing drives or small monetary collections to send missionaries to build another school. People need jobs. They need entrepreneurs to go and start businesses. They need to learn skills that will help spin off into other areas of innovation and trade.

If you’re motivated to run a food drive to help hurricane Matthew victims in Haiti, use that same energy to think of a start up need that requires low skill, a quick return and get some money together to change someone’s life forever.

We need to rethink the one meal at a time approach. This is something we’ve always known, “teach a man to fish” right.

…more to come…
