Finally, I recall a tweet by Pico Iyer — one of my favourite author. Iyer wrote, “We’re so ready to assume we’re making progress in our own lives, so slow to recognise our friends might be changing”. Like knowledge, shared spiritual evolution is the key to personal growth.
…nd. Even the extreme ascetic cannot insulate her/himself from the surroundings. Besides, the entire purpose of practising mindfulness is not to run away from the world but to be in the midst of all challenges and distractions with equanimity — taking life as it comes.
