“Trump painted such a dark picture of America because Obama has left the country in such a dark place.”- Keith Koffler
Although Trump was about my 10th choice for GOP nominee, and I have commented vociferously on line as to Trump’s many faults (including his obvious narcissism), he is now the only one keeping us from having a one party, the Democrat Party, in the presidency for at least a generation into the future. Hillary will let in millions of new D voters and settle them strategically in states to “rig” the electoral college so the GOP will never win a presidential race again, at least not in my lifetime.
This is just one reason to vote for Trump and the GOP. Reed, as a former Trump basher, let me tell you it is all in how you choose to perceive the man and his methods and the importance of having a GOP win this cycle.
You wrote, “He spoke to his base and is counting on those undecided voters to agree that the country has gone to hell in a hand basket and only Trump can fix it.” What is wrong with that?
The country IS going to hell in a hand basket, maybe not for you and your crowd, but certainly for many, many others. And what is wrong with trying to capture undecided votes by projecting a strong leadership persona. That is what candidates do.
I have come around to Trump, he is what we have in the GOP right now and a GOP win is vital right now for the future of the country.
