Is there any way for me to point to the fact that I, and many other Bernie Sanders supporters, would have rallied around a progressive Elizabeth Warren campaign, without sounding like a misogynist? I hope that’s the case.

It’s not misogynistic. As a woman, I have a hard time dealing with the fact that I’m not excited about a Hillary nomination, am excited about a Bernie nomination, and would have been excited about an Elizabeth nomination (we’re all on a first-name basis, right?). It’s not Hillary’s sex that is the issue. There are countless other issues that damp down my enthusiasm. I’ve been voting in these elections since the Ford era. I’d like to think that my choices are the result of a lot of thought and not just knee-jerk reaction.
