Spoiled Children, Confused Adults

I know a lot of people who as a child wanted for nothing. They don’t know how to balance a checkbook, cook, clean, or do most things Adults need to know how to do.

Many people say they’re ungrateful because they had the ability to be spoiled when they were younger and aren’t able to give back now. However, how are they supposed to know certain skills if they never needed them before.

When watching an episode of Call of the Midwife the most unlikely person said, “Is criminal how they just turn them out onto the streets. They’d been waited on hand for and finger all they’re lives, then am off a sudden they’ve got to manage money, cook for themselves, clean for themselves… ” it was said by a nun so can’t seem to stand the riches. However she seems to understand some of those that can’t help themselves after being helped they’re whole lives.

Children who are given everything and want for nothing until adulthood wouldn’t know how to help themselves. They were never pushed to figure out how.
