I must say, of all the endeavours I’ve pursued from 2019 to date, this one has been the most exhilarating and challenging.

Here’s a brief backstory:

I used to wear multiple hats in the fashion industry as a designer and a buyer. However, as time passed, I realized that it wasn’t the right path for me. I then began exploring career options in the digital field, which led me to UX/UI design.

What drew me to the field of UX was its ability to shape real-world products and positively impact people’s lives.

In 2022, I took a leap of faith and transitioned into a career in UX/UI design. I gained industry experience as a trainee UX/UI designer at Experience Haus and as a freelancer who worked with various companies on different projects.

I focused on my personal growth and development, which boosted my confidence and allowed me to trust my abilities as a designer.

In 2022, I became more daring and took on more risks. I pursued my MA in Interactive Media Practice (IMP), where I learned about coding using c# and created XR experiences and mobile applications with Unity software. IMP combines various disciplines like design, development, marketing, and XR, and I’m proud of how much I’ve learned.

As of 2023, taking on new projects, and still learning.

Here are some key takeaways:

- Take risks and dive into new experiences.

- Don’t be afraid to challenge yourself, even if you lack experience.

- The goal is not always to win but to gain experience and become comfortable in the field.

I encourage all aspiring designers or anyone looking to push boundaries to go for it! Remember, I’m cheering you on.

Thank you for taking the time to read :)

Stay tuned for more soon.
