Rachel Callucci, a Montclair State University student from Westfield, New Jersey has come a long way on her journey to find who she is. Growing up in a town with few friends and being bullied was never easy for Rachel, let alone anyone. Staying strong, and standing her ground, Rachel did not let being a victim of bulling break her.
The path may have seemed to be long to get where she is now in life, but Rachel was able to start her first year off at Montclair State University with her head held high. Rachel pushed herself through her fears of self confidence and making new friends. She joined a sorority and formed on campus. Rachel was able to make life long friends and be pleasantly surprised that her sorority and roommates welcomed her with open arms; as she would not only call them her classmates, nor friends, but family. Joining her sorority seemed to be a lot of work, but it was all worth it for Rachel. She grew as an individual who was also able to give back to the community. Rachel also writes for an organization on campus called Her Campus, who was so proud of her that they asked her to be on the executive board. Rachel is a survivor of bulling and will continue to tell her story to happiness to inspire others not to give up.
