I don’t really think it’s much of a secret that humanities grad school is not a good choice for people who need to make real money right away when they graduate. There are always a few superstars in any field who can demand a huge salary, but most creative majors end up working in jobs that are personally rewarding, but not super lucrative.

Sandford was pretty blunt, but not wrong, to point out that paying for NYU is going to be challenging for someone who can’t afford the application fee.
