A “Good” Job vs. the Right Job
Megan Reynolds

I’m torn. Seven years is a both long time and not that long when you are looking at the full arc of your career. He most certainly will be pigeonholed as a shlocky game show host if he continues. I think the key here is in the negotiation. What’s his number? How much does the network have to pay to keep him. If he has enough cupcake money to produce and act in his own theater or film projects in the off-season, that might be a way to keep his acting integrity. I don’t know what my answer would be in his shoes, but I certainly would not accept the first offer.
