The only person who is educated is the one who has learned hoe to learn and change — Carl Rogers

There is always a narrative with the experiences and moments life gives us, which if we own, can propel us to a whole new world.
Learning is every day and recently I was tasked to build a full stack application within an unbelievable period of time.

The project was to use some libraries and frameworks I was either not familiar with or just getting beginner knowledge on. This meant my skill gap was massively wide and coupled with the limited time, it surely was an experience.
In the past, I would say I am a smart person, and as such, I set out to start the project based on my previous learning style, which saw me burrowing into as many materials and resources I could get which was, of course, much and overwhelming and that began to tell on me. All of a sudden I was questioning my intelligence.

A day or two went by and I was lagging in the phase of self-doubt, I shared my feelings with a friend that had passed through the process and that encouraged me and made me realized that the task wasn’t impossible and I could still push my self more. So I started out by just reading only what I needed to do a particular function, implementing what I read as soon as possible and asking about what more I could do more to better the task.
The cycle taught me to question how I learn new things, do a work breakdown for any given task, ask around for help and that keeping an open mind is the way we learn.

P.S. I AM STILL SMART!!!!!!
