Today I’m hoping to finish taxes. Unfortunately it will involve a payment on my part, not a refund. Poop :(

Also, I spent a lot this weekend, way more than my estimate. Some of it was a donation to an amazing Israeli-Palestinian dialogue group I learned about, so I won’t count that; I don’t think spending on charity should be part of what I’m trying to cut down on. But for the other stuff….

I had estimated that I would spend $60 on groceries, but I spent $135. My groceries cost more than I guessed, and I also made a big Prime Pantry order for a bunch of pantry staples. On Saturday, I spent $5 on a very fancy coffee drank, and I only drank half of it bc it was so sweet. I also spent $22 on the dog, who needed some grooming.

Yesterday, I took the dog on a walk in the park and then we got yummy lunch takeout ($22). I had thought I’d spend money on my friend’s bday dinner, but I didn’t.

Estimated $120, spent $184.
