Greetings, dear readers!
If you work in IT(information technology), or if you have any plans to start a career in IT, or are you a university student? As a result, you should be aware of the Google Developer option and the benefits of using Google Developer.

You may use the Google Developer Profile to learn about Google technologies and earn achievements. Your badges and progress are saved on your profile, which includes codelabs and videos, as you go through the various paths.

A beta version of the Google Developer Profile is currently available to everyone.

What exactly are badges?

In Google Developer communities and events, badges are accolades that you can earn for completing learning activities such as codelabs and quizzes, as well as for participating in Google Developer communities and events.

What are some of your favourite badges?

You can highlight up to five of your earned badges at the top of your profile by selecting them from the menu.

What exactly are pathways?

In order to master a specific developer tool or topic, Pathways are organized collections of related information like videos and codelabs. To receive a badge after completing a path, you must pass a quiz. In order to begin, please go to developers.google.com/learn/pathways.

What will happen if I make my profile visible to the public?

Making a profile public will allow anyone with availability to your profile (developers.google.com/profile/u/me) to see what you’ve been up to. This will include your name, image, role, company or university, bio, any badges or statistics you’ve received, and any social media links you’ve established (including Github, Gitlab, Twitter, Linkedin, and Stackoveflow). Your saved pages, pages rated, and events attended will not be visible to the public as part of your profile.

You can make changes to your profile settings by visiting developers.google.com/profile/u/me/settings and entering your information.

What is a personalized custom URL, and how does it work?

Make your Developer Profile public and you will be able to create a customised custom URL that will allow you to easily share your profile on social networking platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and other online forums. This link sends visitors to your public profile on the website. g.dev/ and https://developers.google.com/profile/u/me are both compatible with your personalized link.

Changes to personalized custom URLs are limited to one per month or one every 30 days. Once a custom URL has been deleted, it will not be available for reservation by anybody else for at least 30 days.

Is it possible to have more than one custom URL?

A maximum of one custom URL can be used per profile, but you can update your custom URL once every thirty days.

What is the best way to move my custom URL from one profile to another?

Transferring an existing custom URL to a new account is as simple as changing your old profile’s custom URL, then reclaiming the URL you want to preserve with your new profile. You should keep in mind that you may only modify your custom URL once per 30 days.

What happened to my account and why was it made private?

Your account will be made private and all of the content in your profile will be erased if we have reason to suspect that the content in your profile violates our content policy. You will not be able to make your account visible to the public for at least 60 days after you have done so. The right to suspend or terminate your access to the services, as well as the right to delete your Google account, is explained in the Taking action in the event of a problem section of the Google Terms of Service (Taking action in the event of a problem).

How does it affect my profile when I combine it with a third-party application or service?

The information in your Google Developer profile is accessible to applications that have been granted permission to access it. This is true even if you have not made your profile public. Find out how to manage third-party apps and services that have access to your account in this article.

Where has my developer profile disappeared to?

Using the following URL, you can sign in and gain access to your Google Developer Profile: developers.google.com/profile/u/me

Hey, why are you hanging around now? I hope that this article gave you some insight into the world of Google Developers. Now, what do you do? Create your Google Developer profile and begin learning everything you can about Google. It is not too late; nevertheless, I just found out about it near the end of my university studies, which is a little late.
So, be ready to begin!!
