Dr. Sasha Davidson, M.D.
Specialty: Obstetrics & Gynecology
Dr. Sasha Davidson is a native of South Florida. She grew up in North Miami Beach and has always maintained her roots in our area despite her departure to pursue her aspirations in medicine.
After completing her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at the University of Miami, she ventured to the Northeast to pursue her medical education and training. She earned her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed her residency training in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. As a National Health Service Scholar, she spent several years working as a generalist OB/GYN caring for women in Washington, DC and Columbia, Maryland. During those years, she treated women with a wide variety of complex obstetric conditions and soon realized that her passion is to provide for women with high-risk obstetric needs and serve a greater role in improving pregnancy care and outcomes. She therefore pursued her subspecialty training and completed a Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine — Montefiore Medical Center in New York.
Dr. Davidson provides consultation and comprehensive care for high-risk pregnancies with complex medical, surgical and obstetrical conditions. She also performs diagnostic procedures such as chorionic villus sampling and amniocentesis. Dr. Davidson feels privileged to care for pregnant women with challenging obstetric and fetal diagnoses and is equipped to provide individualized care and attention to patients that will optimize the health of the mother and baby. She engages her patients, their families and general obstetrician to develop the best plan for the pregnancy and delivery. In fact, patients and colleagues describe her as calm and compassionate; always taking the extra time to provide the best possible medical care with the utmost skill and sensitivity.
Dr. Davidson is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist and Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is a member of the Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine. She has presented several of her obstetrics focused research at national meetings and was recognized by the New York Perinatal Society. She remains dedicated to the science behind her work and keeps abreast of the most up-to-date research while also maintaining an avid interest in research investigation that will help to improve pregnancy outcomes among high-risk women.
Dr. Davidson is delighted to be back home in South Florida and is proud to serve her community and educate women about healthy lifestyle choices during pregnancy and beyond. She looks forward to helping you achieve a successful pregnancy as you expand your family.
