The difference between a mediocre and a great team will quickly become apparent after the inevitable test of self-doubt: “Can we do it?”

That’s where a mediocre team will shake and tumble over time. But, a great team will look at their values and courageously decide the path forward.

At Eversnap we have three simple but essential values:

- Team First
- Make it Happen
- Over-Communicate

1) Team First

means, no matter what happens first, we think about what’s the best long-term solution for our immediate team members. When we take care of our core team, our team can take care of our partners, customers, and every other person affected by our organization.

2) Make It Happen

means, anything is possible and it ALL depends on you. When you put your heart and mind into something and listen objectively to the world around you, all the beings in the world will come together to shape your reality. Intelligent persistence & resourcefulness are key.

3) Over-Communicate

One of the biggest pitfalls of teams is that they think that the have already communicated enough. This is especially true when talking about expectations between one another. If you expect each other to over-communicate then you will ask that extra question to clarify, and not worry about “asking the obvious question.” Over-communication can save you from taking 3 steps forward then 5 steps backwards, due to avoidable false assumptions.

Best of Luck at Eversnap!
