SatoshiPay joins Deutsche Telekom’s TechBoost program
We have recently been selected by Deutsche Telekom to join their startup support program TechBoost. In addition to €100k in credits for the Open Telekom Cloud platform, the partnership includes joint sales and marketing activities.
Since day one SatoshiPay has been close to Deutsche Telekom — before our company was even founded, we were granted free office space and infrastructure support at Telekom’s hub:raum Berlin startup incubator in autumn 2014. And we are happy to tighten this relationship by being part of TechBoost!
We are currently identifying services to move into Telekom data centres and exploring which of their additional infrastructure can be used to cut operational costs on our side. However, all of our server infrastructure runs in containers, which means they can be easily deployed across different data centres and providers, so vendor lock-in is no issue, and we will make sure to keep it this way.
Much more than just cloud credits
We are especially looking forward to the benefits of being directly connected to the extended Telekom family, which has over 200,000 employees and made a cool €73bn in revenues in 2016. Check out the right column in this chart:
So, look out for us at Telekom startup pavilions at tech events in 2018! We will also work hard on being integrated in their B2B offerings and pitch to Telekom internally to tap into their global network.
