Trust

I wonder, when and if I will ever trust her again.

Tonight I found needles. Used needles. I honestly don’t think she’s been using, but you never know. I’ve thought it before, that’s for sure. I showed them to her. She told me they were old and that there are tons of them here. Guess what we are doing tomorrow?

In late May she went into residential treatment. It was her idea. There was this guy there that she left with. They didn’t know each other before she got there and she only knew him a few days, but she left with him. It turned out he was a felon and was court ordered to be there. She soon found out what an evil man he was. He did awful things to her. But she escaped and called me to come get her.

She wouldn’t go back to treatment. She does see a counselor, but not nearly as often as she should. The idiot doctor she sees gave her Xanax to get over the whole episode with the felon, and she’s high on that all the time. She doesn’t have any money and she goes almost nowhere. So the question is, do I trust her?

Nope. She’s taking a drug test for me as soon as I get one.
