Truth & Trust

Truth has its ways of peering through the obscure. A smoke that cannot be contained by closed doors, through the crevices it will seep. Truth cannot be contained. Truth is an inexhaustible force of nature.

Trust on the other hand is the glue that binds people together. Trust permeates through the experiences we share. Trust is a peculiar resource, it is built rather than depleted by use.

If truth were to be concealed under a cloak of deceit, and be uncovered, will trust start to wane? Truth can be a muse or an ugly messenger. Alas, this truth is an ugly messenger. The teacup that contains the truth, now shattered. Can the glue of trust bind the broken pieces?

I have failed my own trust. The lesson is mine to keep.
