Drabble Travel Blog: Day 10
Flight 2 of 5!
This travel blog will be released as a series of Drabbles, stories of exactly 100 words, not including titles and CTAs.
We spend the day cleaning house, doing laundry and preparing to depart for our second destination 2.5 hours away.
We are late for the bus and have to Uber again.
Diana is furious at our frivolous spending and we have a big fight.
Eventually, we arrive at the airport: skilled driving! We check in and are escorted to our gate by Accessibility Services. At security, however, some of our items are flagged and confiscated — we have no checked baggage, only carry-on. We decide to leave it behind.
Our flight is 30 minutes late, but uneventful save for some turbulence.
