What “Education is right” means? Who’s right? Why it is a right?
I hope you understand that even if the tuition fees were abolished tomorrow, not everybody will be able to get to university? It is still no more then 50% of school leavers going with the rest excluded because they don’t qualify due to poor A-level results?
When the higher education was free, even less people were able to take advantage of it then today?
It is the increase in student intake in order to make better percentages of those from “disadvantage background” (a typical left-wing policy) that forced New Labour government to come up with the tuition fees as there were no money to pay for it.
What needs to be done to make higher education free again is to close universities that are not up to scratch and in the rest to decrease the number of students taking “soft subjects” (which are effectively a left-wing brainwashing machine for those not able to study real subjects). Then the tax-payer will be able to afford it (but the left will complain that “there are less students from disadvantage background).
