What then all that talk about “the pie” that “is concentrated in the hands of a smaller and smaller number of people”? And generally talk too much about “poor getting poorer” and the rest of the left-wing stuff?
As for referendum that “may spell the end of liberal democracy”, the fact that you loose does not mean it less liberal (someone has to loose).
Been inside or outside of EU is quite a binary choice. There is not certain middle ground. You can’t find a compromise (as any compromise dependant not on those in the UK, but on what EU bureaucracy will decide).
So no, we not become less liberal because people like you can’t force your own view on others.
