Multi-Tasking is Overrated
Dr. Judy Yaron

There is nothing smart about multitasking. I make most of my mistakes when I’m trying to work on two things at the same time. I zone out on phone calls if I gaze at my computer and see that I have e-mail to read; I zone out when driving when I’m talking on the phone; and I miss family time when I’m checking e-mail on the couch. It’s something entrepreneurs are guilty of, and I have to consciously stop myself sometimes. Monotasking is where it’s at.
