So I found this awesome blog site

Blogging is now pain free!

I haven’t blogged in over a year. It got to the point that content was secondary to managing the damn thing. What platform should I use? WordPress, Blogger, self hosted WordPress? Where should I put all my widgets and what nots? Does my blog look like a yard sale or is it sexy? Where’s the best place to put sponsor and affiliate links? Do I have all the proper codes for various networks setup correctly and have any changed recently? I’ve retired a couple personal blogs now and have one sitting in limbo simply because the thought of managing it becomes overwhelming.

Every time I go to put a thought or idea in a blog I get anxiety about all the unimportant details. Why can’t I just have something where I can put it down, hit publish, and it’s sexy and interactive?

Then a few minutes ago I was browsing Facebook on my phone and clicked a link. I went to a blog post that was very…clean. Then I saw the little numbers on the side of the screen. Intuitively I knew they were comment counts, most likely referring to that specific spot. My first thought, “I’ll click that and my phone will crap out.” Nope. The comments opened in an intuitive interface at the bottom of my phone. I clicked close and it quickly disappeared so I could get back to reading.

I loved the simple and smooth design and interface so much I wanted to learn more about whatever “theme” I was looking at, thinking it must be some new WordPress theme or design style. I was suprised to find it wasn’t a theme but a somewhat new take on blogging.

I signed up and it asked me to write. So this is what I wrote. In the future I will actually write about something worthwile. But it’s nice to know if I want to write I just have to sit down and do it.
