An Unspeakable Issue
San Francisco Public Defender

I find this puzzling in that in the more than eight hours since this was posted no one prior to myself has recommended or commented on it. It is an extraordinarily important issue, something that at times of election and public focus on political awareness should be addressed. Seven minutes to prepare a defense for someone who is unable to pay for their own representation? Really? So much for “If you are unable to afford an attorney, one will be provided claim” mouthed by all law enforcement during an arrest. Seven minutes preparation time is providing nothing of value. It seems that political ass-kicking is required, or maybe kicking of political asses.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?
