This really is a storm in a teacup. The reality is obvious. The NEXT sniper, being aware of the threat from robotic assassins will simply secrete him/her self (who’s not a feminist) in a location inaccessible to such toys. Get over the current response and look at the problem. One possible response is to swamp the snipers hide with lasers — blind him or her with a bank of lasers if he/she looks out. Not expensive, very do-able, and very simple. They can’t shoot if they can’t see.
