Can a Dress Shirt Be Racist?

This is a pretty ungainly issue, but the “Hispanic” question is really baffling. As pointed out, “Hispanic” (without even getting into Hispanic vs. Latino), is INCREDIBLY broad. I grew up in the Bronx, New York, where Hispanic meant Puerto Rican, or Domincan, and little else. I moved to Florida and that changed to Cuban. I’m in California these days, and now Hispanic means Mexican, or Central American.

These people all differ wildly in general body type. Even within their own groups there is a massive mix of looks and body type. Latinos are a varied people thanks to our mixed ancestry. Does Hispanic mean Ibizan, Taino, Mestizo?

That said, this is in service to a shirt size, so the whole thing kind of reads like a first world problem with some racial implications, and it is hard to get really worked up about it.
