It is not every day but we all have seen people wearing sober comfortable dresses a lot of times. Whether it’s in a TV show or a hospital. There are a variety of colors these scrubs are designed in. But the question is, which one of them is the best?

The color is mostly dependent on what positon an individual has within his or her employment! But here we aren’t taking any status into account and just debating regarding fashion’s point of view on the decent uniforms these professionals wear day in and day out. It’s about ranking scrubs’ hues by how pleasing they are to the eye.

Starting from the least favorable, but also the 9th most popular color, for scrubs.

14. Red: Blood is red. If you’re a patient, admitted in a hospital, laying down you obviously wouldn’t want to witness a human embodiment of blood walking towards you or standing next to you!

13. White: This color is most likely to get dirty. When dealing with blood or something worse this colored scrub can be stained very easily. They turn yellow quite often too, which is not at all appealing.

12. Khaki: We’re talking about hospitals, not war zones or prisons. Khaki is the least attractive color when it comes to scrubs. People often are reported to have said that it looks like vomit. Now no one would want that!

11. Burgundy: A nurse anesthetist at a hospital in the University City area immediately selected burgundy as her least favorite color of scrubs. Why? “I really don’t have a good reason,” she says. “There are just so many other good colors.” Sometimes, fashion sense doesn’t translate well in the spoken word.

10. Brown: Brown is regarded as a very dull and boring color. May not be your thing; not even mine!

9. Pink: Not a bad color for a scrub. Many people find it soothing.

8. Purple: Appealing, quite friendly and empowering towards the eye; as well. It is a good, unique hue.

7. Green: This color ends up looking good no matter what!

6. Gray: Neutral colors are always good. Many nurses/doctors/techs have happily given credit to this hue.

5. Hunter Green: A lovely, deep forest-green color. People always find darker shades more attractive.

4. Navy Blue: Navy blue scrubs will always remain popular amongst nurses. It is a powerful hue. The blood stains and dirt are not visible on this color. Overall it is a brilliant color.

3. Turquoise: A stylish and an easygoing hue.

2. Ciel: This is a very eye-pleasing shade as well!

1. Black: Authoritative and slimming. These are good qualities for workplace attire, but especially when your profession requires an air of authority.
