Charles, thank you for this. I have two quick comments:
- Your website looks absolutely fantastic. This is the textbook example of how to do it as opposed to simply inverting colors. I’m looking forward to your follow-up describing how others like me can adapt our own sites.
- I have an entirely different complaint about usability and accessibility, divided into a general complaint and a specific use complaint. (1) General: The gawdawful trend of smartphone users who take videos in the vertical orientation, which news organizations, needing to fill the horizontal aspect ratio of televisions, fill the left and right thirds of white space with blurred images of the left and right segments of the video, which causes headaches in many of us. (2) Specific: App developers who ignore the fact that most of us tablet users use our devices in a landscape orientation and who don’t take the time to code for non-portrait use.
Keep up the great work on Molly’s and others’ behalf.
