Great piece Adam — it reminds me of the many conversations Ive had recently with people who were ‘that child’. And how because of one teacher who went that extra step they were able to turn themselves and their trajectory around. Several of those people have now gone on to be principals, authors, educational experts. Many also went back into education because that’s also where they found someone who cared.
