At least we still have some writers in this town to chronicle the demise of our soul city. That sounds a bit like my comment that at least Prince lived passed the age of 27. There is no pretty way to spin it. Losing your soul sucks. It could be years before San Francisco settles on a new persona. Now, we are in an awkward spiral of decline, and we appear to have lost our sense of humor.
