I’d argue that if you had an Apple I or II at the time and held it up to mortals and said “do you want this” they would simply say no because it required skills they didn’t have and didn’t solve, initially, any problems. So for people who are working on something that they see will have a higher value prop once many people make it useful, could end up being a billion dollar company for all we know.
