Mother but not mother

I was 23 when I had my daughter. My mother died when I was 9, so she wasn’t there. My wonderful father was though. His support was invaluable. He’s been there my whole life, was a terrific single parent for me and my brother after we lost our mom. I do hope to be there for my daughter when it’s her turn. I’m sure that won’t be for a good number of years yet, but a mother’s support is important, when it’s available. If not a great dad can sure be nice to have around also.
