What I encounter far more than a bias towards white people is a bias towards hipster yuppies. No one wants to acknowledge that working people, let alone the poor, even exist. Everything is geared to the upper middle class, as if no one else even matters. The only representation of the poor is fake and farcical like Two Broke Girls. Race and sexism are valid issues as well, but there is far more classism which is perpetrated by the rich to keep the poor and middle classes divided against one another so we won’t unite against our common foes who are keeping us all down. Something to think about. We all matter.
