Monocropping is completely unnatural and it has far reaching consequences beyond just destroying our soil and planet but into society itself. Monocropping creates a culture of disconnection with food and where it comes from. It’s one of several things that has created a bubbling pot of societal discontent. Notice what happens in neighborhoods where there are community gardens!

I’m so glad that you wrote this article, btw, because it has been a (less well-spoken than yours, of course) rebuttal of mine for some time to the vegans who start shrieking about how eating meat is destroying the planet.
