The SmartCash team is excited to announce the next time locked airdrop for users who create a timelock of SmartCash coins. Users who meet the criteria (read below) will receive SMART coins in the form of Time Locked Airdrop for 20 years.
The previous airdrop took place in December 2021, when the most active users of the community enjoyed receiving 200 million SMART. You can find out more details here.
So, let’s see what it takes to participate and get free SMART to your address:
- You must send exactly 200k SMART collateral to your address (one address — 200k SMART), which is locked for 1 year by using the Time Locked function on the Node(QT) wallet.
Note: you can do this by creating a new address in your wallet and selecting a period by clicking on the “Lock Time” function next to the send button and selecting a period of 1 year.
Only addresses with 200k SMARTs locked with 1 year will qualify. After one year, your SMART will be available for using / sending.
2. You need to use the SmartCash Node Client to send the locked transactions, but the receive address can be in your Smart Electrum wallet or SmartCash Node Client. With other types of wallets, you will not be able to lock SMART or access airdrop coins.
3. Submit your SMART address to us via Discord or Twitter: Semptly#9739 at Discord or @Semptly on Twitter.
Users should submit their addresses to participate by March 20th, 2022. A lock of 200k SMART for a period of 1 year will be checked through the block explorer.
All qualified addresses will share 100 million SMART airdrop in proportion to the total number of addresses and paid 1 week after the snapshot date.
