This month, Senate Democrats are celebrating, honoring, and bringing awareness to issues critical to the American people.

June is LGBTQ Pride Month, Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month, National Gun Violence Awareness Month, and so much more.

During this month, we celebrate holidays like Flag Day, Emancipation Day, and World Refugee Day

We honor the anniversary of landmark Supreme Court cases like Obergefell v. Hodges.

And, we have the opportunity to shed light on pertinent issues that impact national policy: As we recognize Gun Violence Awareness Day and wear orange, we remember the tragedy of the 39,773 shooting deaths in 2017. That’s 1,000 more than in the previous year. It is long past time to bring a bill to improve gun safety to the Senate floor.

Join us as we recognize these important holidays and awareness days.
