2016 in Review: 46 Counties Tour
I am blessed and honored to represent the best state in the country! Every year, I make it a priority to visit 46 counties all across the state. Whether I’m having fun with elementary students in Easley or speaking to a group of veterans in Columbia, each stop is important to me because I get to meet our nation’s future leaders and learn more about the issues that matter most to South Carolinians.
In case you missed it, here’s a recap of some of the best moments from my 2016 46 county tour:
I had a fantastic time meeting everyone at the University of South Carolina Salkehatchie in Allendale.
I really enjoyed speaking with veterans at Providence Home in Columbia in January.
I met some great young men at the Tara Hall Home for Boys in Georgetown.
I learned a lot during my visit in Greenville Tech with my friend Trey Gowdy. I tried to ask him where the on button is!
I had a great time at Florence-Darlington Tech, where they are doing some amazing things like cutting water with this seal!
I had a fun visit with the kids at McKissick Elementary in Easley.
The Project SEARCH interns at Spartanburg Medical Center have bright futures ahead of them. I enjoyed chatting with them over lunch.
Earlier this month, I visited the Dollar General Distribution Center in Union.
I look forward to seeing you all around South Carolina in the New Year!
