This year I continued my tradition of visiting 46 counties all over the state. I had a great time chatting with many South Carolinians and learning more about the issues that matter the most to them.

Here’s a recap of some of the best moments from my 2015 46 county tour:

Abbeville County
I visited Flexible Technologies in Abbeville.

Allendale County
I visited students at Allendale Fairfax High School. I had a great time speaking with them. They were smart young people with a lot of potential!

Anderson County
I had fun visiting and speaking with Boys State this year. I attended Boys State when I was in high school, so it was an honor to go back and tell my story to over 1100 rising seniors across the state.

Bamberg County
Over the summer, I spoke at the Bamberg Job Corps Graduation.

Berkeley County
I joined the students at Nexton Elementary in Summerville to present World War II veteran Cpl. William Smoak with his Bronze Star and other service medals.

Charleston County
I attended and spoke at the grand opening of the VA’s new Community Resource and Referral Center in North Charleston.

Dorchester County
It was great to see so many that have given so much for our nation, and truly humbling to speak at the 2015 Memorial Day Observance in Summerville.

Fairfield County
It was great to see everyone at ABBA’s Sweet Treats in Winnsboro.

Florence County
I finished my 46 county tour of the state with a visit to Otis Elevator in Florence.

Georgetown County
It was an honor to visit the veterans memorial at VFW Post 10420 in Murrells Inlet.

Kershaw County
I visited the Kershaw and Lee County Correctional Institutes today with Proverbs 22:6, a group dedicated to providing support for children whose parents are incarcerated.

Oconee County
I enjoyed speaking at the God and Country celebration in Seneca.

Spartanburg County
I enjoyed touring the Northside Initiative in Spartanburg with former Mayor Bill Barnett.

Thank you for all the support across our great state. I am looking forward to doing it again in 2016!
