I value that you took the time to write a response to my post. Thanks, Jim.

I regret that something in there gave you the impression that I didn’t edit my post nor care about what I’m saying. You may not believe this, but I’m a human and even though I put effort into proofreading, I make a LOT of mistakes.

You also may not believe that the only reason I spend hours working on posts like this is because I care a LOT, and I possess the optimistic audacity to believe that someone may read what I write and find it useful in their own quest to make the world a better place.

While I’m bummed that my writing gave you such drastic misperceptions about my motivations, I’m mostly just disappointed in myself for allowing troll behavior to hurt my feelings and for rewarding it with my time to write this when I could have been doing something to help impact teaching and learning and change the world.
