…And? What’s your point? You didn’t even attempt to argue from anything, you just said “I think it’s superb.”

Blanchard is not interested in pathologising transsexuals, he’s interested in the truth.

Pfffft. You’re quite the disciple, I see. Everybody always thinks their side is “the truth.” I look at Blanchard’s own words, both classical and recent, his insults and the degree of disdain he has for trans people and our ‘paraphilias,’ and I see someone with no respect for our actual points of view whatsoever.

As my essay on the history of autogynephilia shows, the link between trans identities and autoerotic behaviours has been known about for many years

I glanced at your “history of autogynephilia” essay. I didn’t learn anything new. Yes, the twentieth century was full of scientists who wanted to gatekeep us and “help” us poor crazy people become sane. Yes, Blanchard’s pathologizing views built on the pathologizing work of Benjamin and others. So what? What point are you trying to make with that ‘evidence?’

I keep saying it over and over: I’m not arguing whether autogynephilia exists. It does. Granted. I’ll even grant that it correlates with a lot of trans women. What Blanchard failed to prove — and what you’re failing to address at all — were his assertions that it’s causative of gender identity issues, that it’s exclusive to trans women, or that it’s a disorder that causes harm in those who experience it.

And for all your frequency in mentioning it, I’ve yet to understand why you think it has any relevance to your weirdly persistent misgendering of trans women as “heterosexual men.” How on earth does my having erotic feelings about myself as a woman make me not a woman? Why do you keep insulting us all with the wrong labels? Is it just to pick a fight?

(Still waiting for you to substantiate your claim that ‘cis women’ are aroused by femininity, which was an important part of your objection).

Done. At some length, so I won’t bother to repeat myself.
