Welcome to the PATH System

We are working hard to keep you safe on PATH every day. Stay alert, be aware and speak up. If you see any suspicious activity or unattended bags or packages, please report it to the Port Authority Police or call (800)828–7273. You can also use a PATH passenger assistance phone, which are located near the turnstiles and on platforms notify PATH personnel. Raise the phone to call the PATH Police Desk at extension 6078.

While traveling on the PATH System carry-on items such as bags and packages are subject to inspection by the Port Authority Police. Passengers are reminded that smoking, eating, drinking and carrying open food containers on trains and in station areas is strictly prohibited. We hope you’ll help us keep PATH clean by taking your personal trash and newspapers with you when you leave the PATH system. For your safety please stay away from the edge of the platform expressly when trains are arriving.
