I wish I could say I know how it feels to write something this deeply personal. I wish I could say I can see a light at the end of the tunnel. I wish I could say that change is coming. I wish I could say I had the answers you don’t. But I can’t say that either because more and more I’m just worried about waking up in a world a little bit more bleak than we left it at night. And that’s wrong and terrifying.

I hope through speaking out and through coming together and through accepting and writing about it, sharing your stories, we can change. But I just don’t know.
