Yes. And a lot of it is tied to a few things: our insecurities about being “wrong”, disconnect from others or our attachment to being right.

Which ones affect you is easy to spot with a simple exercise: write down five things you will feel bad about if you admit you’re wrong and 5 things you’ll feel good about if you prove yourself right. ;) Usually a very interesting introspection.
