Sesame is hiring Customer Success!

WHY WE EXIST
Have you ever felt that school focused too much on how well you test, and not enough on what you can actually do? So did we, that’s why we started Sesame.
WHO WE ARE
Sesame is a Kitchener/Toronto startup funded by Y Combinator/Imagine K12, world’s leading accelerator. We have over $100K in sales and work with schools across Canada, U.S. and China.
WHAT WE DO

Sesame makes it easy to assess competencies with photos/videos and rubrics from any device. Everything is instantly accessible by students and teachers, and automatically organized into ongoing student profiles. It makes the learning experience more personal, reduces “why did I get this mark?”, and shows evidence for learning outcomes that schools are held accountable to.
We focus on practical college/university programs such as hospitality, music, architecture, and nursing. We also attract K-12 schools that want to personalize their student experience and demonstrate outcomes. The economy is shifting to value skills over credentials, and we sell to schools that are adapting to better serve their students.
We believe the future will value people by their abilities, that’s why we want to be the catalyst to that change right from the education system.
