Thank you for this post. Misty Copeland is a true champion for girls and women of colour who dare to venture into fields where they are not highly represented. I was in tears when I watched the commercial you posted. I can’t imagine how she felt being told her body type is not right at age 13 (that awkward, vulnerable adolescent stage). Misty’s my hero!
