If you know anything about Twitter, you’ll likely know that this is impossible. Nonetheless, this (or a similar) scam was enough of an issue for people to tweet about it frequently.
If you follow the instructions, you are presented with this:
I don’t know how to check whether this is the real Periscope, but considering the last shady app was able to masquerade as pokemon.com, I highly doubt it.
After authorising the app, and waiting a while since dolwer.com is not fast, it redirected me to a chaturbate campaign- (and possible referral-) URL. Since that site is sexually explicit, I opt to not link it here.
So far so strange. Let’s see where this goes!
