Evan Guerra, thank you for reading my story, and I agree with you. If you stick to generalities, sure, people will be able to define it, but then it will be too general to mean anything. When you get down to what it really means, it is indefinable because it can really only be known by the person in there who is experiencing it. I had the same idea as you: I can’t explain it because I can’t define it. So I tried to write my story as an outside observer with the idea that there would be no way I could explain (i.e. define) it in specific terms that would mean anything to anyone but me. However, anyone who has experienced something like these types of emotions and thoughts that take over your life, will maybe recognize them here, making it paradoxically a definition… of sorts. In other words, love might be definable but only to those who already know the definition.
