Twenty-five years ago today, the Chicago Bulls completed the repeat of the 3-peat with a play sequence by Michael Jordan. His layup, steal, and jumper won the Chicago Bulls their 6th NBA championship and cemented his iconic legacy in sports immortality. It was also the last time Michael Jordan wore a Chicago Bulls jersey.

The Chicago Bulls’ Three-Peat Repeat in the late 90s was a remarkable feat that felt like a movie. The legendary Michael Jordan led the team to win three consecutive NBA championships from 1996 to 1998, cementing their place in basketball history.

The Chicago Bulls would become the NBA’s greatest dynasty of the 1990s and significantly impacted pop culture and the world. Beyond the world of sports, the Bulls became a cultural phenomenon, with merchandise featuring the team’s logo and players selling out in stores across the globe. Michael Jordan’s iconic “Jumpman” logo, inspired by his signature dunk, became a symbol of excellence and success and is still recognized today as one of the most iconic logos in sports history. The Bulls’ success in 1998 also helped popularize basketball worldwide, inspiring countless young athletes to pick up a ball and chase their dreams.
