Stop Agreeing

There are too many “yes” people in this world.

The people that constantly agree with everyone, regardless of whether they actually do or not.

They do it to avoid conflict, to avoid hurting someone’s feelings, to avoid lost business or to avoid being thought of as rude.

It doesn’t accomplish anything and just stops them from being honest and true to themselves.

People will get more out of their life and everything they’re trying to achieve by standing up for what they believe in and standing up for what they want out of life.

This is especially true in business.

You don’t always have to agree with your customers or clients.

Speak up when you think they should know something or when you don’t agree with a direction they are trying to make you take.

Explain the situation and your reasoning for not wanting to agree with them.

Most of the time you will get more respect from them when you do this.

They are already faced with “yes” people on a daily basis.

People trying to please them and agree with them just because they are the customer.

It can be refreshing to a customer when someone stands up because of what they believe is best for them.
